What’s on your mind?
How much money is in my checking account?
Is he cheating on me?
Was that sex even worth my time?
Did the kids finish their homework?
Why can’t my best friend just leave that no good man?
Did I forget to call my dad on his birthday?
How much gas is in the car?
Should I pay for my coworkers Starbucks again after she promised to pay me last time but didn’t?
Will I get a raise at work this time?
Oh My God, did she really post that on Instagram?
When’s the last time you actually thought about what you think about on a day-to-day basis?
What you think about has a lot to do with what you do, how you react and who you’ve become.
When you wake up in the morning, who the first person on your mind?
When you're choosing an outfit for the day, who are you dressing for?
When making decisions throughout the day, who are you making decisions for?
If the answer is not YOU, then keep reading.
Take a moment to go through your mental library.
Have other people put books of their lives on your bookshelf?
Is your mental library filled with novels of chaos?
Can people walk through your mental library and just pick out any subject they want and you become an open book?
Being aware of your thoughts can change your life drastically and you’ll definitely experience a miracle. Your thoughts should be positive. I know this sounds cliché but it works. You can build a world around you with just your thoughts.
Have you ever experienced that moment when you're maybe randomly thinking of someone then the phone rings and it’s that person?
(What’s everyone’s favorite line: “Oh speak of the devil”) LOL.
Or when you think of a specific car you’d like to buy and all of a sudden one pulls up next to you at a stop light?
What would happen if you used that same energy towards transforming your life to how you’d like it to be?
Choose thoughts that benefit you.
Take inventory of your thoughts today. If you find yourself thinking a negative thought, write it down and go on about your day while replacing that negative thought with a positive one. At the end of the day, take a moment (the last moment) to reflect on where these thoughts are coming from. Ask yourself “Is this thought helping me better my life in a positive way”?
(Or do you just allow negative thoughts to linger around in your mind for free? )
My thoughts have to be lucrative for mE!
STOP FILLING YOUR MIND WITH THINGS AND SITUATIONS THAT ARE NOT MEANT TO UPLIFT YOU AND ELEVATE YOU.
Everything starts with a thought. Even in the Bible creation started with a thought. The mind holds so much power. Once you realize that and control your thoughts, you’ll be better than ever!
